1) Start with cold water (filtered or spring water are recommended) and bring the water to the point of steaming (170° F - 180°F).
2) Add 1 teaspoon of leaves into the ONO filter. Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup of steaming water.
3) Pour the steaming hot water over the leaves and steep for 2 minutes.
4) Remove the filter to strain the tea and enjoy!
Tip #2: Do NOT use temperature beyond steaming for green tea. If the water temperature is too hot, the tea will be too bitter and much of its delicate aroma will be lost.
Tip #3: Never reheat water that has already been boiled. The loss of oxygen in the water will create a flat tasting tea.
Tip #4: Remember to save the leaves for a 2nd or 3rd steeping and get the most out of your ONO tea! When using the ONO filtering system, it’s simple - all you have to do is add more water to the filter. Find out how by CLICKING HERE >>
